If you are beginner when it comes to working out, start here! This program is designed to get you from having sat on your couch all summer to being ready to ace Day 1 of band camp.
The workout format is simple. This is a total-body program meant to be done 3x/wk with one day of rest between each workout. Use weights and resistance as necessary and go at your own pace. Also modify exercises to suit your comfort while still challenging yourself. Burning muscles are your friend, but having sharp pains could indicate that you are doing something incorrectly.
